BMA hosts a variety of events, conferences, debates, competitions and one day workshops for both students and Faculty. These events encourage practical learning; develop general knowledge and awareness of the business community at large, and enhances the interaction between the Institute and Industry. Members of Faculty from the different academic departments work together with the visiting faculty and also guest lecturers to engage in multidisciplinary work that goes beyond the scholarly boundaries of their specific subject areas, adding value to the core curriculum and inspiring creativity as each one shares & presents their own original ideas.
Cultural events, educational films, and conferences on Sustainability or the Global Financial Crisis held at the Institute, build awareness of the new trends in the corporate world to contain the present brewing crisis of global warming.

| Professor John Ross was Director of Economic and Business Policy of London which is equivalent to Vice Mayor (2000-2008 ).He was a Management Consultant for eight years in Moscow (1992-2000) as well where he was advising large international and Russian companies (chiefly on financial, mining and engineering).His field of activity was, the practical application of economics - advice to companies on strategy, decisions on government and city policy etc. and also considered a specialist, by non-national standards, on the International, Russian and Chinese economies. |

| We had the Award of Certificates for the PGPRM first batch on the 20th February, 2009. It was a joyful and auspicious occasion that earmarked a milestone for Bangalore Management Academy. For BMA it saw the completion of the First of many more Retail students to grace its halls. It marked the transition for our students from college life to professional life. Since it was the first batch the award ceremony was very intimate and opened for a very select few. |
