Anshuman Ray, Regional Director - Human Resources, Synopsys India inaugurated the Pre-Placement Programme on 14th August 2009 with an inspiring talk on "The DNA of stellar Talent". The Pre- Placement Programme is an intense training programme conducted for each outgoing batch to train them on the various facets of the corporate selection process such as Resume writing, Group Discussion, Interview handling etc.
Mr Anshuman's talk was highly appreciated and was a great learning experience for the students. He talked about what are the prerequisites for success in the corporate environment and what is a right hire. He said that Stellar talent thinks beyond Placement specific employability to the realm of sustained employability. This talk was a great starting point for the Training programme as it focused on specific performance benchmarks which distinguish stellar talent' from 'incumbents'. The take away for the students was a paradigm shift from a Job centric to career oriented approach. |
