In this capacity, the key responsibility areas of Mali, as he is popularly known, include HR Strategy and Operations for Symphony Worldwide, executive coaching for senior managers, culture building, organizational capability building for high growth through mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Symphony Services 5 years ago, Mali was VP-HR for IBM’s domestic operations, VP and Country Manager-HR for HP and Director HR for Philips Software Centre.
Mali is active professionally. He has been a member of the National HR committee of CII for over 10 years and a member of the Nasscom Membership Panel from the very beginning.
Mali was one of the 4 architects of the HR Competency Framework developed under the aegis of CII and National HRD Network. He frequently shares his experience at leading B-Schools including IIM-B besides being on the governing body of many B-Schools.
Mali enjoys sharing his experience and mentoring young HR managers. Mali did his Masters in Personnel Management from the Autonomous Loyola College, Chennai and he passed out with the Golden Jubilee Gold Medal.
